So This is Long March…

…what a fucking shit hole. Btw, if we had a tournament amongst alliance leaders there is no doubt in my mind that King Mannus would come in last. While he’s a nice enough guy(with a now crushed ego) he really really sucks at PVP — although he did accept my duel request, something Osium of The Mercs is still scared to do.

Section 50 & KGB Leak Hyperion Internal Drama

Forumfall,

Recently there has been talk and rumors about Hyperion being dead, disbanded, and done with. This is far from the truth. Every ventrilo conversation, every forum post, and every in-game chat is seen, monitored, and evaluated by members of the KGB GSS as well as Section 50. Through combined talks, we have decided it is time to reveal previously classified information in hopes that the general public will no longer be blinded by Manus and more importantly the puppet masters of Hyperion.

Manus may be gone, but Hyperion is not. Alliances remain, and plans are in the works for them to re-form in to an even stronger clan and continue their goal of domination without Manus and without Duchy proper. Hyperion is attempting to reform without the tainted name of Wessex and Manus, which you can gather from the secret Ventrilo meeting that I will supply.

The screenshots and recordings below are a mere fraction of the information gathered. It’s not possible for me to share the vast amount of real-time intelligence we gathered during sieges and other crucial in-game moments. I hope that you will find these entertaining, comical, and most of all truthful. Truthful about how backstabbing and tyrannical Manus and his regime truly are.

The effectiveness of Section 50 and KGB GSS spies have been astounding. Forumfall has in the past doubted their legitimacy and even their existence. I can assure you this is far from the truth. I understand that at times the humorous posts of Francois and Zarithas may not boost their ethos, but credit is certainly due.

These posts will not come often, and they will not release information that is crucial or time sensitive. All posts will remain anonymous. I feel after a few months of Darkfall, and the all-but departure of Mannus, it is appropriate and safe to release a sample of some of the various intel we have gathered. KGB GSS and Section 50 will continue to keep our eyes open and see to it that Hyperion is completely dismantled, not just fake neutral standings in-game towards each other.

The Real Terms of “The Surrender”…

I’m sure we’ve all seen that cute little “surrender” post that King (m)Anus made on the Darkfall Online forums yesterday… done laughing yet? What kind of fool does he think I am? Does he think that if you’re at war with several different groups that surrendering to one of them means all of them accept your terms? While he may have tried to save some face by surrendering to “Death”, the rest of the major alliances who stood up to Hyperion’s aggression have no interest in accepting this surrender and we pledge to finish the job.

However, out of respect for the Death alliance and mainly LoD, I have decided to flex my diplomatic muscle as well. Here’s the terms of surrender that I agreed to with Obs-LoD last night:

• Hyperion will lose all of their assets on the mainland of Agon except 1 city
• The 1 city they will be allowed to keep is Longmarch
• Yssam Coalition will be left alone (you guys got lucky)
• Those guilds who left Hyperion after the deadline to quit Hyperion had expired will still lose their cities
• The overwhelming majority of the remaining cities/hamlets to be taken from Hyperion will be put up for public auction on the DFO forums so that smaller/regional alliances have a chance to become land owners

Now I know many of you are upset with these terms as we’d all love to see Longmarch burned to the fucking ground and these Imperialistic roleplaying tax-mongers forced to bind at chaos stones and newbie cities. However Obs-LoD felt very very strongly about letting Hyperion retain one city on the mainland in order to “save their alliance” and “show mercy.” I balked at this first but eventually decided to agree to let them have Longmarch because it will always be a nearby spot to raid and I’m sure one of the regional alliances nearby will eventually take it anyway (sup KFC… want to be heros?).

No one wants Hyperion to quit the game, not even me — I want this game to have as many players as possible and while a good number of Hyperion clans will still be losing their cities, maybe giving them Longmarch helps keep a couple hundred more roleplayer going out to cut trees giving us more targets to PK

In the end, Hyperion is on the verge of defeat and will last maybe one or two more weeks before theyre finally eradicated(although it may be longer as the remaining Hyperion forces have appeared to reorganize with the entire Yssam Co). Mannus’ claims of acheiving any sort of success are BS… he claimed 37 clanstones because he prepared for this game 6+ years in advance and had a 3000 man army at launch. In reality though, King Mannus and his Hyperion empire that took 6 years to build was destroyed by in under 2 months… not bad for a pothead and his loyal band of UO faggots

So to those in Longmarch, good luck with the rest of the game and to those who are in cities denoted by a yellow dot on the post below, see ya soon  – nothing but more good fights ahead

It’s truly funny to see the cowardice that Hyperion has displayed in World War I, isn’t it? First they siege their own cities in a futile attempt at preventing the first battle of WWI to start(they still lost 1 city and 3 hamlets that day). Then this weekend after being annihilated in Darkfall’s greatest large scale combat operations to date, Hyperion continued to show us their gutlessness by attempting to “leave Hyperion” in order to save their cities. People may call me the DF Hitler but this Hyperion tactic is the same one the Nazis used when they fled to Brazil to avoid being tried for their war crimes — you cant try to exterminate a race(Yssam) and get away with it…

Hahaha Nice Try Tempest, Bloodfest, SSR but youre fucked.

The above picture shows the state of the Hyperion alliance at the time the 72hour offer for Hyperion and Yssam Coalition(Hyperion Jr) guilds to defect expired. These guilds at this point chose to stay on board the Hyperion alliance declaring their loyalty to King Mannus thus forever sealing their fate. Any attempts to leave Hyperion since then(especially after this weekends hijacking of 3 Hyperion cities) will only be recognized as signs of cowardice and will not spare you your fate. You guys are going to learn a lesson and be an example for every future guild alliance on this shard, you might as well man up and go down fighting…

CC vs. Hyperion(and The Mercs)

The CC sieged The Hundred’s city this weekend… and of course we took it. Hyperion tried their best(lol) to beat us, even spending 100k on The Mercs but in an evenly matched battle at the Terrible Company hamlet, CC forces defeated The Mercs + Hyperion twice and won the siege, conquering Andruk:

-That Hyperion has been mass recruiting for their roleplaying zerg since 2002.

-That while Hyperion has been taking many losses(both in game and politically) to the CotC, they still hold more assets than any other alliance

Let’s be honest, I’ve been a man of my word thus far and have already proven many of my doubters/haters wrong about me. I will continue to prove these naysayers wrong when I reduce CC holdings/size big time upon the true defeat of Hyperion… failure to do so would be dooming myself to the same fate that now awaits King Mannus, a server wide death.

Anything but pushing Hyperion completely off the mainland is asking for another 9-11 when NA-1 comes out

…the CC respects your neutrality 110%.  We have been calling for Hyperion guilds to “wake up” to the reality of their situation and leave the roleplaying zerg that has dreams of shardwide conquest… all in the name of their e-King. Your alliance has finally heeded the call and as a result, this game stands to be more dynamic, exciting, and fun for everyone involved. Until Hyperion is finished, should anyone siege Aradoth, the CC will defend them 100% from any Hyperion backlash — you have made a move that puts this game and server in the right direction and for this you will be protected like my last gram of weed

Listen to the message in your heart — this game is more fun if you do your own thing and dont have to follow the rules(or better yet, a friend or foe list) from some MMO King who thinks he is the next coming of Alexander the Great. Sandbox MMOs are about freewill and doing whatever it is that lets you have fun — and lets be honest, this game needs to be more fun and less of a job as it is. I urge all remaining Hyperion guilds to follow suit of the Aradoth alliance and seek your own neutrality by breaking off your ties to the roleplaying empire that has taxed you to death.. and start playing this game the way it was meant to be played: with no rules

However, should you fail to leave Hyperion you will be doomed to a fate of destruction.. not just by the CC but by the entire shard(Cairn, Death, DUSK, and more). We will take all your cities and hamlets and give them to clans who do want this game to be about guild vs. guild, not the nutcup ni****dom we have now. You have less than 3 days to follow suit before you lose your cities… choose wisely as NA-1 may not be here for some time ^^.

tl,dr:

As a sign of good faith, Aradoth is 100% protected by the CC from any siege by Hyperion or other force attempting to zerg this newly established, neutral alliance. The remaining hyperion guilds have 3 days to follow suit or they lose their cities to be given to worthy, smaller alliances.

The Real Rumor Mill…

Can you confirm or deny any of these rumors:

1. Haseo Le Gaude(one of the few hyperion PVPers) was banned for 3rd party programs.
2. 0 members of Awful Company and 1 TC member were banned for 3rd party programs.
3. DUSK The Vindicators and Oromea have started their own new alliance
4. Hyperion has raised taxes in order to pay for city repairs.
5. Gluttony has a 2″ penis… but its cool, some chicks like it that wide
6. Hyperion has vacated their mainland cities and have resettled on Yssam
7. Baseball is the most boring sport ever
8. Osium(leader of the Mercs) is scared to fight 1v1 and refuses to duel Gluttony

Hyperion didnt want those cities anyway…

You tried to start WWI by sieging eXile’s city at 3am… CC’s jobless/EU/Anzac forces defeated you handily in the war’s first big battle. This weekend… we decided it was our turn to strike — except we didnt do it like a bunch of cowards at 3am; we did it during primetime on a saturday.

The results?

a.) Hyperion resorted to exploting the siege system by having Hyperion guilds siege eachother in order to prevent their cities from being attacked by our forces. You managed to save only 1 of our intended targets and yet showed the shard what kind of pussies you really are — exploit to dodge fights? Thats noble…

b.) Hyperion once again spent over 200k on hiring every mercenary guild on the shard to try to help them turn the tide of the battle. However, the Mercs/RainbowNinjas/HAIL failed on their objectives in the north and Covert Operations failed on their objective in the south. The only merc guild that did any damage was lil old Serenity Now and im pretty sure they were killing both sides. Why do people pay for the quasi-zerg Mercs anyway — exploiting to get the first ship doesnt make a guild good at large scale operations.

c.) Even with the smurf guild exploit sieges and the merc whoring, Hyperion still lost 2 hamlets(including the Hyperion Royal Court Lands — lol Mannus, Im sitting in your throne) but they also lost a major city in the north. They were about to lose a major city in the south(Bewaher de Weltens city) as forces had the city surrounded and ships in their habor… until the server crashed. The saddest part about this is that several Hyperion guildleaders had their entire guild open up the in game clan page at the same time in attempt to crash the server — tbh, that was their only success of the day.

Dear Hyperion,

Now is your chance to prove to the rest of the shard that you want the same Darkfall server we do and disband your alliance(this doesnt mean giving up your cities). Otherwise you WILL lose your cities I’m sure we can agree that probably would be best for all if we could avoid it.
